Man Shoots Security Guard for Kicking Him Out of ‘La Vida’ Nightclub in Hollywood

Getting kicked out of Hollywood nightclubs: It happens to the best of us. It also happens to the worst of us, going by last night’s shenanigans outside club La Vida along the Sunset Strip:

After a young man in his 20s got kicked out for being “unruly,” along with two unruly sidekicks, he decided his V.I.P. ass would not stand for such treatment. LAPD officers tell City News Service that the man fetched a handgun from his car down the street, and returned to show La Vida what he was made of:

He opened fire in the direction of the club around 1 a.m., “hitting a male security guard in the thigh and grazing a female patron, also in the thigh.”
​In the aftermath of this Thursday-night rager, the good news: The security guard’s injury is “not grave”; he’s recovering at a hospital today. And the woman who was hit, apparently a huge badass, refused to go to a hospital at all.

The bad news: The gunman hasn’t exactly been caught yet. So if you see some walk-of-shame looking dude stumbling around Hollywood this morning, get out the way. Also, call the LAPD’s Hollywood station at (213) 485-4302.
