Lindsay Lohan Caught Up In Jewelry Theft After Alleged Hollywood Hills Burglary

Posted on by admin

Lindsay Lohan must be having a bad case of déjà vu.

The actress is reportedly caught up in yet another theft, this time involving the theft of jewelry from a Hollywood Hills home.

TMZ first reported that Lohan was being questioned by police about the Hollywood Hills burglary, which occurred Sunday night (E! online reports that the theft took place Saturday evening). Lindsay reportedly spent the night at the house after a party and when she and other guests woke up, the owner of the home said his expensive jewelry had been stolen, including several watches and some sunglasses.

Lohan claimed she had nothing to do with the burglary, but the owner of the house believes two of the men the 26-year-old brought with her to the party stole his stuff, according to TMZ.

Lohan reportedly asked cops, “Am I a suspect?” and when an officer replied “No,” she left.

This isn’t the troubled starlet’s first rodeo when it comes to stolen goods.

In 2009, her house was burglarized by the now-infamous Bling Ring, a group of young people who robbed the homes of celebrities in the Hollywood Hills.

In May of last year, Lohan pleaded no contest to misdemeanor theft for stealing a $2,500 necklace from an LA store. The actress claimed that the necklace was on loan to her and her stylist should have returned it, but the store’s owner said Lohan walked out of the store with the jewels after trying on and removing several other items. She was sentenced to 120 days in jail.

This latest incident is one in a long line of Lohan woes.

The actress had been attempting to revamp her image since last year’s jail stint and it has been quite the roller coaster. She got into a car accident in June and threw a fit at Bootsy Bellows over Francesca Eastwood’s presence.
